#Hashtag Gallery is incredibly excited to bring you REFLECTIONS, the first solo show from David McDonough!
McDonough’s artwork is often political in nature and deals with issues ranging from the environment to the economy.
In creating his three-dimensional artworks, he ensures that each layer compliments the other, and that depth is built through the use of light and shadow. Interested in the relationship between the positive and the negative, the works are made with a limited colour palette and highly reflective materials, resulting in bold and striking compositions.
