April 21 – May 1 CHAMPSTILES: “#BURNSTHE6”

In his first solo show at the Hashtag Gallery, pyrography artist Chris Burns (Champstiles Woodburning Toronto) brings a large collection of his signature burnt canvases to the #BURNSTHE6 exhibit.

#BURNSTHE6 is an exploration of what makes Toronto such a unique, interesting and vibrant city, as well as a commentary on current issues and pop culture through the eyes of the artist. In addition to his solo works, there will be a series of collaboration pieces created with other local artists in a variety of mediums. By using primarily recycled and reclaimed materials, Chris aims to breath new life into forgotten pieces of wood.
