MAY 30th-JUNE 5th DARRYL GRAHAM & CO.: “QUICK & DIRTY”

#Hashtag Gallery presents – Quick & Dirty – an art exhibition uniquely designed to make original artwork that is a little more accessible.
The show will feature works by Nimit Malavia, Dave Murray and Darryl Graham. Artists well known for producing works of intense meticulous detail, usually creating pieces that would take weeks to produce. This show not only offers viewers the opportunity to get their hands on original work at an affordable price, but, by given a limited time frame to create each piece, will challenge the artists themselves to explore and embrace a world of mark-making which has otherwise been foreign to them. Incorporating a sense of play and immediacy into their already established concepts and visual language.

Here are the rules:

1. Artwork will be priced to move at $300 or less. Sold on a first come, first served basis.
2. Each piece will be created in 3 hours or less.
3. You DO NOT talk about Fight Club.
Join us opening night, Thursday May 30th 2013, for a couple drinks, affordable artwork and a few other surprises.
