P A R A L L A X

n: a displacement or difference in the position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight; measured by the angle of inclination between those two lines.

PARALLAX is a group painting exhibition by senior-level students in the Visual Arts BFA program at York University. Under the direction of Professor Janet Jones (MFA, Ph.D) the artists created works inspired by themes of urban landscapes, movement and flux, cross-cultural interlays, and the disintegration of both the body and the external environment.
