A vivid showcase of NXNE alumni and present performers, LIVE @ NXNE is where music and photography meet. Featuring epic performance and candid portraits of NXNE artists, both alumni and current, by 20 of Canada’s live music photographers.

This exhibit will also feature a tribute to the late Andrew MacNaughtan, who passed away earlier this year. LIVE @ NXNE will be on display from June 12-27 at #Hashtag Gallery, 801 Dundas West.

ANDREW MACNAUGHTAN 25/02/1964 – 25/01/2012

Photographer and Director, Andrew MacNaughtan is known for his keen eye and creative art direction, MacNaughtan brought a unique vision to each project, seen in the direction of over 70 music videos, the album art photography of over 150 releases and the press & publicity material for several recording artists and celebrities.

MacNaughtan photographed such premier artists as Avril Lavigne, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé and Nickelback. He has won numerous awards over his 25 year career, including four Juno Awards, for Our Lady Peace, Tom Cochrane, Rush and Jann Arden, two East Coast Music Awards and a MMVA for his work with Great Big Sea.
